JOB OVERVIEW  

The Senior Consultant is responsible for following up with new leads, consultative selling projects, preparing, sending, and following up with proposals, providing client support and oversight to their clients. This role also works closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and also works closely with the project manager.  

TOP JOB DUTIES 

  • Follow up with leads and book appointments with prospects. 
  • Prepare and send proposals based on the prospective client’s needs. 
  • Sign new clients. 
  • Support clients through their project working collaboratively with the project manager. 
  • Provide feedback to marketing and leadership. 

 OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Attends weekly internal check-in calls and monthly, or as needed, with clients. 
  • Log sales activity in the company CRM system as well as maintain a clean and accurate database. 
  • Follow up with and keep current with warm leads within 1-business day and guide prospects through the sales process. 
  • Communicate with clients, prospects, and internal staff via email, phone, text messages, letters, and other forms of communication. 
  • Provide reports as needed for clients and for internal review. 
  • Stay up to date with sales trends and franchise news for better service and achievement of sales. 
  • Travel up to 10% to attend trade shows, client visits, training, and in-person staff meetings. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma+. 
  • Certified Franchise Executive preferred. 
  • Minimum five years working in franchising, consulting, a senior sales role, customer service, inside sales, or a sales-adjacent position.

  • Experience working in a CRM. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Office) and related software. 

 PREFERRED SKILLS 

  • Experience in franchise sales or the franchise industry. 
  • Critical thinking, evaluation, and analytical skills. 
  • Record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. 

 COMPENSATION 

This is a base salary plus commission position depending on experience and skills.
